Finally my LTI meeting

This week has been pretty tiring in a lot of different ways. First on Tuesday I had to work with both classes and i didn't have much time to rest but i like that. My first class on Tuesday 7C was pretty calm and i worked with Jose Jimenez he did good that day and i didn't struggle much with him. Then i worked all day with 7D I worked with Jeremaya and she did good then i worked most of the time with Jose Samosa and I noticed that he works better in a quite enviorment. I also worked with another group but they got to distracted working together so that is when i got frustrated and noticed that i should be more hard on them. Today wasn't that bad either but Jose Jimenez was not working well today and I had to keep telling him to do his work and he just didn't want to. OK the good thing about this week is that I finally had my LTI meeting it when pretty good and now I am an official intern at UPA!!!!!!!

Secon week of LTI

My internship this week has gone better. I really enjoy working with my 3 students and now i fell more connected to them. Now I'm doing more stuff and more hands on. At first I was just working with the 3 students and didn't have much to do but now i work with more students and I help the teacher around. I have not had my LTI meeting yet but i hope it would be soon. i like the way my mentor is with me because she helps me a lot and has time to talk to me. This Thursday me and my mentor got to talk more and i got to know her better. She also got to now more about me and i felt that i could talk to her about many things. I really felt appreciated by her because she said that she was seen that Jose and Jeremaya are doing better scenes i started to work with them. She thinks that with more one on one work they would do much better. She also told that she likes the way I work with all her students. Ill write more next week about there process and how i feel.

First day of internship

Today was my first day at my internship. I was not nervous and i knew what to do. i got my new task. My mentor told me that i would work with 2 kids from every class. In my first class i work with jose jimenez , me and him connected very good and i think that he is going to learn alot. i like that he is ready work and would not give me a hard time. The work that im going to do with jose jimenez is checkin that he does his work and what happend on his day. In my next class Im going to work with alex and jeremay they are both giving me a hard time. I think if there werent in that class it would be easier for them because theres to much distractions. I have talked to my 3 students and i feel that if i get to now them better I would now were they need help. In my internship I also help the teacher in other work and give her new ideas. I would write more about my process with Jose,Alex,Jeremay.

My LTI Process

In my LTI process i have gone to 5 informational interview. On Thursdays i went to a shadow day at Urban Promise Academy Middle School and I really liked it. I really like it there because I am know most of the people there and i fell comfortable at the site. When i went to my shadow day I connected with the kids a lot and they really liked me being there. Next in my process im going to have a meeting with my future mentor and my advisor.
